Recently, a new prototype of the Galaxy S8+ have surfaced online in China. In the render, the smartphone appears to feature dual rear cameras.
Previous rumors indicated that the Galaxy S8 will be featuring dual rear cameras. However, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ phones with a 12-megapixel single-lens rear camera.
The prototype that leaked online indicates that earlier Samsung must have tested some of its Galaxy S8 phones with dual rear camera. It could be that Samsung might have changed its mind during the last stage of product's launch.
The phone carrying model number SM-G955F appears with some other features such as heart rate calculator and LED flash. The fingerprint sensor is not to be seen. The company is expected to design more prototypes for the high-end phones before the final launch, SamMobile reported. It is likely that the company could be testing for launching the dual cameres feature on the upcoming Galaxy Note 8. If this comes true, it could become the first Samsung phone to come with twin rear facing cameras.
