(Photo : LinusTechTips / YouTube) AMD Ryzen 5 mid-range processors are now available which gives tech enthusiasts more cheaper substitutes to Intel’s Core i5 CPUs. However, the AMD Ryzen 5 1600X processor has more cores and it has three times more threads compared to its rival the Core i5-7600K giving it an advantage.

The new AMD Ryzen processor has been a talk of the town ever since it was released in the market. Sources told that the processor has been tagged as one of the greatest innovations and technological advancement this year. Furthermore, it is said that the device maximizes the fullest potential of a processor as it offers a wide-range of function such as software compilation, 3D rendering, media encoding and its 18 cores and 16 simultaneous threads. However, with all its impressive features, some thinks that there are also things lacking in Ryzen.

According to Ars Technica, AMD Ryzen has been showing a lack of consistency in terms of its performance relating to games, especially for all the users who would want to stream their gameplay to Twitch. Also, some games seem to have a poor performance in Ryzen. Gamers and users are reportedly complaining about the products' errors, which they did not expect to happen. However, users expect that the combination of game patches and even the operating system would gradually change as Ryzen promises consistency and a great gaming performance.

On the other hand, Bit-Tech revealed that fans are still in awe of how cheap AMD Ryzen is. Basically, users could get a four-core and eight-thread CPU for just £169. Not just that, the six-core CPU is also sold at a purchase price of £249.

Just a few weeks ago, reports informed that there are certain patches released in the market that would address certain Ryzen complaints and problems. As of today, the released patch would take care of Ashes of the Singularity. This would mean that the game would basically showcase the benefits of DirectX12 and multithread scaling.

Not just that, AMD Ryzen also revealed guidelines that would basically help users to utilize the maximum potential of the processor and the power management profile for Windows 10.
