Currently, LG faces bootloop problems with its newly-released device, the LG G4. Sources told that Girard Gibbs LLP made an official move of filing a class action suit against the leading mobile company. Not just that, reports revealed that there are additional devices experiencing the same boot problem that other people are experiencing. These include the G5, V2 and the Nexus 5X.
According to Android Authority, there are tons of complaints admitting that the LG G4 is experiencing bootloops. To counter that, the company made a deal to repair all the affected devices while citing "loose contact between components" as the primary reason why the problem occurred. In spite of that, consumers still encountered errors and reported that the replacement units were also experiencing the same issue.
News told that LG mistakenly solved a wrong problem. And not just that, V10, a newly released device from LG, were also experiencing the same bug as that of the G4. Consumers reported that the handset is undergoing restart errors and permanent freezes.
LG Users already made a bold move by filing a case against LG while citing the device as inoperable and unfit for its purpose. "So far, Girard Gibbs LLP is conducting a survey to obtain more information from affected G5, V20, and Nexus 5X users. Depending on the information that they receive, you could be invited to join the suit."
According to Ars Technica, the South Korean company is still not giving its response regarding all the complaints against its devices. Sources told that Magistrate Judge Paul L. Abrams has given the company up until May 8 to respond in court.
As of today, the LG company is experiencing lawsuit with regards to its LG G4 and V10. However, news believed that lawsuits could increase as LG G5, V20 and Nexus 5X are affected as well.
