The latest details for "Street Fighter 5" will feature upcoming game updates by the end of the month and a new Skullomania mod.

It seems that Capcom will be implementing new changes for "Street Fighter 5" by the end of the month as the new updates will focus on the Capcom Fighters Network.

Capcom stated that been working hard to address connectivity issues players have been experiencing into the game since its launch, and has now completely rebuilt the CFN for a better online experience.

In order to test its improvements, Capcom announced "Street Fighter 5" will be free to play on Steam from March 28 to April 3. The beta client will be separate from the main game, and will only include access to its online modes.

Existing players’ CFN username and other stats will carry over to the beta, whereas new players will get to create their own CFN logins. All of the fighters in "Street Fighter 5" will be unlocked, including post-launch characters. Anything earned during the beta, as well as stats recorded, will be wiped after April 3.

With that in mind, The patch seemingly comes as an answer to the uproar from the community saying that more changes needed to be implemented to make "Street Fighter 5" Season 2 balanced.

Now that the sequel has a much more stable foundation and is looking to improve the overall user experience with the upcoming update, gamers will likely be satisfied about the changes Capcom has made to make their gaming experience even better, EventHubs reported.

There are also rumors that new stages and characters slots were added that could be coming in "Street Fighter 5" updates very soon.

In other news, a new character mod for "Street Fighter 5" will have "Street Fighter EX" fan-favorite fighter Skullomania in the sequel.

Modder TheJamk posted up the mod over on his official Patreon page with a Rar file of 14MB large, and it takes Rashid and alters him to look like Skullomania. It changes Rashid’s first costume, so player's can still play as the mid-east playboy with his other costumes, OneAngryGamer reported.

Capcom already launched Akuma and Kolin as DLC fighters this year along with new stages. Four characters have hinted to be next DLC fighters in "Street Fighter 5" such as Goutetsu, Matthew McCoy, Luke and Satsuki, as well as debunked reports of Taylor being in the roster.

"Street Fighter 5" is currently available for the PlayStation 4 and PC platforms.
