With February already near, a new gameplay trailer for the PS4 version of "Attack on Titan" from Koei Tecmo has been released. The new footage came from the livestream from Nico Nico, and it features loads of gameplay content for the game.
The gameplay footage features both great moves and carnage, DualShockers reported. There are three main footages, which show off the player testing out Eren Jaeger's moves using the 3D Maneuver Gear. Unlike previous gameplays, this one shows just how challenging the actual use of the gear can be.
Players can also see the map where the titans are located. Once the player gets the hang of using the 3D Maneuver Gear, it's easier to zip through the town. The first footage alone already shows carnage, both in killing the titans and getting eaten by them.
The other gameplay videos show other environments that players can explore and fight in. There are settings that appear to be located outside the walls, as there are no towns, but rather mountains and empty plains. The lack of high areas can actually become a challenge, since the 3D Maneuver Gear actually works better with the use of trees, buildings and mountains. This is where strategy and timing on the part of the players can actually come into play. All the gameplay videos can be seen in the link above.
There is another "Attack on Titan" game that will debut at the Japan Amusement Expo 2016. Titled "Attack on Titan: Team Battle," this new title will come from Capcom, Gematsu reported.
It appears that the new game will feature a co-op action with four players. The main point of the game is to have players kill titans using the 3D maneuver gears. Capcom has yet to fully detail how the game will work, because even though the game zones in on team play, players can still kill titans on solo play.
For those who want to sample the game, it will be playable at the Japan Amusement Expo 2016, which will be a two-day event from Feb. 19 to 20. "Attack on Titan" from Koei Tecmo will be released on Feb. 18 in Japan, with an unconfirmed release date for the West.
