Newly leaked images purported to be of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 8 have been posted by LeakSpinner on SlashLeaks.
Based on the recently leaked images, the upcoming flagship phablet looks similar to the Galaxy S8 but is bigger and comes with an S-pen. The image of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 shows a large phablet running Bixby, Samsung's virtual assistant. There is also an S Pen in the leaked image, sitting beside the alleged Samsung Galaxy Note 8. This is the biggest point of difference between the Galaxy Note and Galaxy S series.
The device would reportedly feature a massive 6.4-inch. Just like the Samsung Galaxy S8, the Galaxy Note 8 appears to have a stunning edge-to-edge 'Infinity screen.' Samsung is expected to use the same OLED technology seen in the Samsung Galaxy S8 too. There is a rumor that the Galaxy Note 8 will be able to utilize a 4K resolution, coupled with Samsung Galaxy VR. The Galaxy Note 8 is likely to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 and will come with 6 GB of RAM. The Galaxy Note 8 could also come with dual-firing speakers, which could bring true stereo sound.
Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy Note series of phablets will continue after last year's Note 7 fiasco with the smartphone units catching fire and exploding. Samsung was forced to make multiple worldwide recalls for the device and chalked losses amounting to about $5 billion.
Samsung is said to be planning to launch the Galaxy Note 8 in the second-half of the year after releasing the Galaxy S8.
