Avid gamers of "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" on PS4 are one night sleep away from getting a taste of Continuum map pack, the second DLC for the game. Activision rolled out the pre-loading details as well as the download and unlock times, a couple of days prior to its official release.
The pre-loading for "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" on PS4 started midnight EST of April 16. CharlieINTEL tweeted. Then, the Continuum DLC will be playable at midnight EST on April 18, which is noted to have been a standard pattern of DLC releases for COD games.
As revealed earlier, "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" will introduce players to four new multiplayer maps, namely Excess, Scrap, Turista and Archive. Excess in particular is notably a reimagined map from "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2". Players will engage in battles from a plush resort to art museums, sprawling future metropolis and lunar junkyard.
The second map expansion will also take players back to New York in the 70s to battle disco-zombies in the new Zombies chapter titled "Shaolin Shuffle", Gamespot reported. The star-studded chapter features Pam Grier, a star Quentin Tarantino's 1997 crime thriller "Jackie Brown", including actors Paul Reubens, Seth Green, Jay Pharoah and Sasheer Zamata.
Continuum is part of the game's season pass but players can opt to purchase the DLC separately at $14.99. Pre-order is up now at PlayStation Store. Xbox One and PC users will be able to download this expansion 30 days after its initial release on PS4.
Developed by Infinity Ward, "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" is available across Xbox One, PS4 and Microsoft Windows. It is set to receive two more map packs after Continuum DLC this year.
