The latest updates for "Persona 5" will feature new DLCs and soundtrack for the game, as well as a rumored fighting game version of the sequel.
Atlus launched the "Persona 5" soundtrack which contains over 110 songs from the game. The soundtrack, which also happens to be in three set albums, is worth only $29.99 on iTunes. A pretty good deal for "Persona" fans considering the number of songs included, as well as the sheer quality of the music. Whether the soundtrack will be available on other platforms is still unknown.
Aside from the soundtrack, Atlus also released two new DLC for "Persona 5" and players can download them in the PlayStation Store. Both pieces of DLC are car stickers for the "Persona 5's" Mona-car. The first one is a “Persona 20th Anniversary Logo Morgana" sticker, while the second sticker is a “Phantom Thieves Logo Morgana Car.”
In addition, the new "Accolade" trailer was also streamed online and the video highlights the various characters and gameplay features that made "Persona 5" a huge success this year, PlayStationLifeStyle reported.
Meanwhile, several rumors are making rounds regarding spin-off games for "Persona 5" as Atlus previously conducted a survey asking gaming fans for new content or titles based from the sequel,
The survey also revealed possible spin-off titles for "Persona 5" such as a fighting game similar to "Person 4 Arena" or a dance style game similar to "Persona 4: Dancing All Night."
Interestingly, "Persona 4 Arena" and "Persona 4 Arena Ultimax" director Kazuhisa Wada stated in an interview that he wanted to make a "Persona 5" fighting title as his way to explore more possible storylines for the sequel and ensure its legacy in the franchise.
The Atlus survey also revealed that they are planning to have HD remastered versions of past "Persona" games, which include "Revelations: Persona HD remake", "Persona 2: Innocent Sin / Eternal Punishment HD remake","Persona 3 HD remake", "Persona 3 dance game" (sound action) and "Persona Q," Gematsu reported.
Still, Atlus promise gaming fans “several” new titles within this year and the "Persona" series is no exception to their plans.
"Persona 5" is currently available in the PS4 and PS3 consoles.
