New "No Man's Sky" updates will feature an upcoming DLC story and a pre-older build coming to the PC version.
Hello Games could be teasing a new story DLC for "No Man's Sky" in the works based on the posted photo clippings found Imgur. According to Geek Reply, the photos featured a war between the Galactic Empire of Hova and the Bezz-Harr Concern.
It is said that the new faction attacked a Hovan starship, which is just patrolling the BHC Outpost located in the Zoliforwe Region, and deemed as the "Bezz-Harr Incident."
The problem however, is that gamers are skeptical on the posted photos and there is no responds yet from Hello Games if these contents are legitimate. It is worth noting that there were tons of in-game features that the studio promised before releasing "No Man's Sky."
Apparently, these were the main reason players got so excited about "No Man's Sky" in the first place, to the point of making the game the most talked about last year. Unfortunately, these features along with an interesting story content were all missing.
But Hello Games did promised gaming fans new content for "No Man's Sky" soon after the release of patch 1.24 and they are not yet done with the game just yet.
In other news, several gamers have noticed Hello Games publishing numerous internal updates for the PC version of "No Man's Sky," including pre-release builds.
According to the SteamDB website, the changes were said to be in the form of a brand-new internal depot called "oldbuildtest," which apparently called back to build number 1276924.
Gamers quickly observed that the "oldbuildtest" was dated prior to the launch of "No Man's Sky" on PlayStation 4 in August of last year.
These noticeable changes caused several speculations as to what a year-old file would mean for "No Man's Sky" today. Some gamers assume that Hello Games might resurrect a pre-release feature, and the recently recovered file might suggest that the game developer is trying to make sure that it still works in the newer version of the game.
If the theory became true, then gamers should expect more "oldbuildtests" with higher version numbers to pop up in "No Man's Sky" in the coming days.
"No Man's Sky" is currently available for the PS4 and PC platforms.
