From China, Team Pangu teased the possibility of a jailbreak release that is built around the iOS 10.3.1 and rumors have it that the crack will be made available in the first few days of May, or following the expected rollout of version 10.3.2. So what needs to be done while waiting for what appears as the Yalu jailbreak replacement?

According to iPhone Hacks, jailbreak fans need to stay still and pretty much remain where they are at the moment. As reports indicate that the upcoming Pangu jailbreak will work on iOS 10.3.1, the urge will certainly get strong to move up and abandon the existing jailbreak tools. That is understandable but the truth is - Pangu gave no assurance that the new iOS 10 crack will come out and even if that is true the chance is always there that the solution is unstable in the earlier versions.

"The last thing you want is to upgrade from a jailbroken iPhone only to realize that either the jailbreak for iOS 10.3.1 hasn't been released or it is unstable," the report said. So the best thing to do is allow the excitement to die down and wait out for the solid developments to surface in the coming days.

There is no reason to rush as Apple will likely continue signing iOS 10.3.1 about a week after the official release of 10.3.2. It is only hoped that the rumors will prove correct - that by next week a better iOS 10 jailbreak solution will be made public courtesy of Pangu.

And when that happens it's best to be prepared. Redmond Pie said it's important for iPhone and iPad users to prime up their devices before the jailbreak touches down. First thing to do is to backup and the best tool available is iTunes on Mac or PC. Doing so will ensure that important data are preserved, ready to be accessed and restored when things go south in the Pangu jailbreak.

The same report also recommended saving blobs on SHSH2 version 10.3.1. This will prove handy in the event that Pangu required more time in finalizing its rumored jailbreak and Apple has already discontinued signing version 10.3.1. But with saved blobs, upgrading or downgrading to the firmware will be a non-issue.

Good thing Redmond Pie provided a guide on the matter for jailbreak fans to walkthrough on savings blobs with relative ease.

So the waiting game is on for Pangu's rumored iOS 10.3.1 jailbreak and whether the solution will materialize or not it's best that things are in order when the JB tool indeed becomes real and ready to use.
