Although Blizzard has yet to hint to the new installment, fans are again speculating that BlizzCon 2017 will be the perfect time for an update regarding the game's development stage.

Despite its silence, fans are still hoping that Blizzard would give a sneak peak into "Diablo 4" soon. At the moment, there is virtually no information about the gameplay and release date of "Diablo 4."

According to Droid Gamers, "Diablo 4" may not come to reality as fans have been left clueless about Blizzard's plans for the game. The company has released zero information related to "Diablo 4." Blizzard seems to be emphasizing its Necromancer class instead of giving a preview of what could happen in the fourth installment of the hit game.

In an interview with Gio Hunt, Blizzard's EVP of Corporate Operations, he admitted that the company would also love to release another version of Diablo. However, they would like to stay quiet about it for now.

"And so we continue to have a very vibrant community around Diablo 3, and of course there's always talk about Diablo 4," he said. "We didn't announce anything today; we're not ready to announce anything about that. But we love the Diablo franchise as much as any of the other universes, and I'm sure at some point we'll see something like that."

Meanwhile, Game Spot revealed that Blizzard recently marked the 20th anniversary of the Diablo series. The game developer is currently working on bringing the Necromancer to "Diablo III."

Blizzard recently celebrated the Diablo series' 20th anniversary with in-game events in "Diablo III," among its other games.
