If rumors are true, there will be an iOS 10 jailbreak release happening this week and the solution will likely be better and more usable that Luca Todesco's Yalu jailbreak. Reports from China suggested Team Pangu is making public an iOS 10.3-10.3.1 jailbreak that is expected to work on all 64-bit devices.
But why jailbreak in the first place? The tool is some sort of a liberator. Forbes said it's a powerful way "to customize the look of iOS and install apps and tweaks that aren't available in Apple's official App Store." In other words, a jailbroken device erases Apple's footprints in the system and hands back full control to handset owners - a scenario that definitely is inviting for many power iOS users.
And more tempting is the tease from Team Pangu that their version of the iOS 10 jailbreak will be far better than Todesco's effort. As shown in a leaked video (can be viewed below) from China, the rumored Pangu JB tool runs on the iPhone 7, which was something that the Yalu jailbreak promised but failed to deliver.
However, what the upcoming jailbreak can actually do better remains mystery but as Pangu already hinted that the tool will be ready to download and use as early as this week it's best to be fully prepared for the arrival.
In a report, WCCFTech recommended moving up to iOS 10.3.1 now as the Pangu jailbreak will supposedly work on 64-bit devices running on firmware versions 10.3 to 10.3.1. Then it's always good to make a backup of everything just to so have a solid fallback when something goes awry when the Pangu jailbreak goes live.
Or for more optimal benefits, the same report strongly endorses a clean install of 10.3.1. "A clean install ensures that everything is nice and smooth from the get-go," which applies both for the official iOS release and the jailbreak version, the report said, adding that a guide on this can be found on this link.
When all things have been covered for the anticipated iOS 10.3 jailbreak release from Team Pangu, what's left to do is to patiently wait and hope that the Chinese hacking group will follow through with the demo seen from Shanghai, China. That a better iOS 10.x jailbreak solution is dropping anytime this week.
