Samsung has finally launched the Bixby Voice feature for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus in the South Korea region. According to the latest news online, the said feature is the last one to arrive among the Bixby features mainly Bixby Vision, Bixby Home and Bixby Reminder. Apparently, the Bixby Voice, which is considered to be one of the most important features in the new Samsung devices had to perfect its performance especially its English version before launching.
According to the TechTimes, on May 1, a notification to all Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus users arrived informing them that the new Bixby Voice feature is now accessible. Unfortunately, the said feature is currently available only in South Korea with no specific date on when it will arrive in the U.S. The Bixby Voice is capable of monitoring the voice of its user and is capable of integrating it to the voice feature of the Samsung devices.
In a report by the GSMArena, the Bixby Voice in the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus handles some of the most basic instructions such as commands to open an application, menus and searching the web. This, however, perfectly worked on previous versions of voice commands in the Samsung line. The website explained that the Bixby Voice on the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus aims to service all apps within the S8 and S8 Plus devices.
Currently, the Bixby Voice on the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus features the Korean language. Rumor claims that the new Samsung voice feature will be able to use the English language later this coming spring. Some of the most beautiful results of the Bixby Voice include navigating the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus as well as choosing items and scrolling down lists on certain apps.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus are now available in the market since April 21, 2017.
