Bethesda is reportedly working on "Elder Scrolls 6" but its release date is still a long way off. But when it eventually hits the shelves, the next entry to the massively popular franchise will boast superlative features considering the revolutionary innovation in the video game industry that change the name of the game.
While many of the recent reports speculate that "Elder Scrolls 6" will have a surprise debut at E3 this June, fans should not hold out their hopes for it yet. But given fast innovation in Technology and game development, game analysts say that it will potentially release with big features that will hail it as the next big title in the future.
Xbox Scorpio Release
Microsoft's Xbox Scorpio is touted as its most powerful console ever and it is deemed likely that it will sport a Virtual Reality support. It is yet to launch around Holidays 2017 but many are anticipating that it will come with epic titles.
Now, speculations are high that "Elder Scrolls 6" will be VR-ready by the time it will be fully complete for release. Game developers are now competing in the VR games arena and Bethesda has already confirmed the release of "Fallout 4 VR" for HTC Vive on PC.
With the game developer introducing its big franchises with VR capabilities, it is not far-fetched idea for "Elder Scrolls 6" to follow suit and come out with a VR feature on Xbox Scorpio. Microsoft's next-gen console is apparently equipped with the most powerful processor to cater this demand.
Multiplayer Options
In addition, "Elder Scrolls 6" is rumored to also introduce multiplayer options. This speculation stemmed from the most recent job ad posted at the official careers website of Zenimax, Bethesda's parent publisher.
The studio is currently in search for a senior multiplayer engineer inclined in the development of online multiplayer environment, which most people think involves the sixth installment of TES franchise. But on the other side of things, it may fill the need for Bethesda's other seven projects and sadly enough, these do not include "Elder Scrolls 6".
Release Date a Long Way Off
Back at E3 last year, Todd Howard did say that "Elder Scrolls 6" is in development and the studio is working on the game. But Howard emphasized that it is a long way off and the studio is focusing on the seven projects, as per Digital Spy.
Fans will not most possibly see "'Elder Scrolls 6" anytime soon. But the longer time spent in the development of the next TES game offers endless possibilities to make it an epic title after "Fallout 4".
