Without a doubt, the MacBook Air remains one of the best and most practically designed notebooks of all time. The Ait is on top of the list in the competition within Apple's MacBook line. The MacBook Air's design has remained steadfast despite repeated releases of the device with different specifications each year. After Apple announced the launch of the all-new MacBook Pro 2017, the company has remained quiet on the specs and design details of the MacBook Air.

Nevertheless, the MacBook Air remains one of the best laptops for writers. Without the need for a supercharged processor, but still producing speed, the MacBook Air is perfect in terms of a soft, thin design; lightweight feature and incredible battery life lasting from 8-12 hours.

According to the Christian Post, a refurbished MacBook Air 2017 currently sells at $799. A huge $200 has been removed from the device's original price. Still, the Air relatively has a steep price compared to newly released laptops from other brands. A standard MacBook Air has a 128GB hard drive capacity with 8GB of RAM.

A 13-inch MacBook Air weighs not more than 2.96 lbs, a practical concept that allows writers to take the laptop anywhere they go. The Business Insider, on the other hand, considers the MacBook Air as one of the thickest notebooks among the MacBook Pro line. Despite its unchanged design, it's still one of the most in demand laptops on the market.

There are rumors that one of the reasons Apple is cutting down the price of the MacBook Air is the apparent arrival of a new version. Unfortunately, Apple has not made any announcement, hint or teaser that prove it is working on a new design. Meanwhile, the latest MacBook Pro is now out available on the market featuring a slimmer bezel compared to that of the MacBook Air laptop.
