From this latest development from Supercell, it appears that contrary to the past updates, the release date of the biggest update for "Clash of Clans" will not be announced through teaser videos. Meanwhile, the new sneak peeks released by Supercell does confirm the incessantly rumored Shipwreck feature. Players will be introduced to this game changing feature where a boat will need a repair. After it is fixed, it will pave the way for the multi-village support.
However, not much has been revealed as of yet except that the next patch will be the biggest and different ever to arrive for "Clash of Clans". But a recent Chinese leak suggested that it will also come with a high-speed Night Mode. If this leak is anything to go by, it will allow players can now maintain their villages during night time while the speed aspect remains unclear at this point.

It is noted that the May 2017 update is the massive update to ever roll out for "Clash of Clans" since its release in 2012 for iOS and 2013 for Android devices. In March, Supercell released a small balance update that brought in well-needed nerfs and buffs to various elemens in the game.
