"Batman: Arkham Insurgency" will likely see its debut at E3 2017 this June, if recent leaks are to be believed. Warner Bros. has yet to provide official details regarding the upcoming title but heaps of speculations have already revealed the game's multiple villains, Batman's batsuit, possible settings, storyline and more.
A new leak is pointing at the huge possibility that WB Bros. next title, "Batman: Arkham Insurgency", will be part of its game line-up at the biggest annual expo. But it can also be anyone's guess since most of the AAA projects from giant game developers get their big debut at E3.
Fans have yet to wait for more than a month to find out if this piece of information turns out to be true. But even before its official announcement, interesting details with regard to the game have grown thick online.
A WB staff codenamed IAmBatmanArkham on Reddit apparently leaked that the said title is in the works and is set three years following the events of "Batman: Arkham Origins". The leaker further revealed that the dark knight will be clad in a much darker but lighter batsuit that seems to be a lot like "ninja/black ops" ensemble.
Moreover, the game will take place in an undiscovered coastal parts of Gotham, which is about the size of three islands from Arkham Knight. It will also allow fast travel to the Batcave and Wayne Manor.
The game' story will focus on the mass escape at Blackgate and Arkham Asylum including various attacks across the city of Gotham. Batman and Robin will come to save civilians trapped in the contained area where villains and criminals lurk.
While "Batman: Arkham Insurgency" will introduce the Owlman and the Court of Owls as the big baddies, it will also add other ruthless villains like Maxie Zeus, Dollmaker, Killer Moth, Anarky, Two-Face, Dusan al Ghul, Mad Monk, Riddler and a lot more. Of course, Joker will appear in the game since he is all behind the breakout at the Arkham Asylum.
Interestingly enough, "Batman: Arkham Insurgency" will include boss battles contrary to the past title. It is said that the game will be launched by November 2017 across Xbox One, PS4 and Windows PC platforms.
