"Injustice 2" is inching closer towards its official worldwide release next week. In line with this, the schedule for pre-loading on Xbox One as well as the download size have already been revealed to prep up players for the launching.
Players on Xbox one can start downloading "Injustice 2" on Xbox One ahead of its unlock time scheduled late Monday night. As regards to the download size, the game file weighs about 26.82GB, which is only 2GB larger than the original title's download for PS4.
The file size for the PS4 is not known yet since pre-loading for the version is not available for now. But Sony is expected to reveal the details to the players shortly for the game's release on Tuesday.
In more news, NetherRealm Studios has announced three of the DLC characters coming to "Injustice 2". Hardcore gamers will be getting "Mortal Kombat" fighter Sub-Zero, Batman's second protege Red Hood and exiled Tamaran princess Starfire in Fighter Pack 1 DLC who will also be availabe in the game's $79.99 Digital Deluxe Edition.
There will be six more DLC characters coming to "Injustice 2' and they will also be included in the game's Ultimate Edition costing $99.99. The studio has yet to announce the other six fighters downloadable in the near future.
But it appears that Polygon has already uncovered two of the six characters from the trailer of Fighter Pack 1 DLC for "Injustice 2". The publication reported that the trailer's final frame, when tweaked a little, shows Aquaman's nemesis, Black Manta, and "Mortal Kombat" kombatant Raiden.
"Injustice 2" is set to arrive on Xbox One and PS4 consoles on May 16 while rumor has it that it will also come to PC at some point. A mobile version of the game is also available for iOS and Android. In the meantime, check out the trailer for "Injustice 2" Fighter Pack 1 below.
