Windows Central's senior editor Jez Corden recently revealed that "Halo Wars 2" would be coming on Steam. The game would reportedly be released on Steam because of the franchise's low Windows Store sales in the past.
According to WCCF Tech, Corden's tweet was in response to a question regarding the possibility of "Halo Wars 2" coming to Steam. Corden confirmed the allegations with his tweet.
"@RobotBrush oh, nah, I'm confirming it, it IS coming to Steam, lol"

"Halo Wars 2" was developed by 343 Industries and Sega's Creative Assembly and was released in February. The game was first introduced on the leading platforms including Xbox and Windows 10 PC.
"After working on so many titles together with Microsoft in 2016, we are stoked to start the year with another partnership. Being able to deliver such a big franchise to RTS and Halo fans alike, the opportunity to buy and own this game in a beautiful physical shape is something we appreciate a lot," Lars Wingefors, the founder & Group CEO of THQ Ironic, said.
Meanwhile, Heavy has offered a guide to anyone who would want to start playing the "Halo Wars Definitive Edition." It is apparently a good strategy for players to collect the designated supply crate as it would help them build their resource supply in the early game. It would also help in sustaining the player's growth throughout the game. Players can also snatch other team's crate just before they notice it.
Valuing "Halo Wars 2" reactors is also essential in the game as it gives player a tech level increase once they garrison an infantry unit. Once a player has a reactor, it would save up to 2000 resources on their final upgrade.
