The Nintendo NES Classic is on its fated end and yet gamers are still hoping for the best. With the production of the playing device on hold and stopped, gamers are finding ways and means to play their favorite games. There are details indicating that the RetroN HD is the new trend and replacement for Nintendo's prime device.
The Nintendo NES Classic Mini may have been rather annoyingly discontinued earlier this year, despite fans pleading with Nintendo to create more stock, but thankfully a solution is at hand and Hyperkin has revealed the new RetroN HD, a high definition upgrade on their original RetroN.
Aside from having the flexibility to buy and play any old NES cartridge, gamers can get their hands on the RetroN HD. It also outputs these old games at 720p giving them a slight graphical boost and if that was not enough for the gamers, it's also cheaper than what some of those Nintendo NES Classic's are going for online, with the RetroN HD only costing a mere £49.99, reports the same post.
A separate report also shared that the Nintendo NES Classic Edition was a smash hit ahead of the holidays last year, and it was still flying off the shelves long after the holidays came and went and then Nintendo went ahead and decided to discontinue it without providing any reasons at all.
For the gamers, the halted production and release of the Nintendo NES Classic edition was a big blow, but the varying selections to opt aims on minimizing the disappointments that gamers have felt towards Nintendo. As for the other rumors being tied to the flagship, everything should be taken with a grain of salt in mind.
