The massive update teased to be the biggest and different to ever hit "Clash of Clans" will see its full release this May despite delay, according to Supercell. One of the big changes to expect is the new Versus Battle Mode.
The game developer has confirmed this latest development update via forum post. Apparently, fans who are looking forward to see the official release of the massive update for "Clash of Clans" happening this week will not be able to do so.
Sadly enough, studio moderator LachNessMeownster said in Supercell's update megathread that the new patch will not arrive this week. But the news brings promise that the massivev update will get its full release in May despite delay.
So, it is anticipated to go live later this month instead of earlier, as what many expected. But the developer also teased something good to hold on to.
The massive update for "Clash of Clans" is confirmed in the post to add a Versus Battle Mode as one of the many improvements coming. But it remains under wraps how this new feature will function and change the in-game mechanics.
This new Versus Battle Mode emergred from a notification screenshot that reads, "a player is ready for Versus Battle." If fan theories are anything to go by, it could be the same with the 1v1 PvP combat mode that is popular in another Supercell game, "Clash Royale".
The Shipwreck feature is as good as confirmed based on the Captain's Log teasers for "Clash of Clans". While Supercell has yet to reveal more about it, it set to unlock and play the Versus Battle Mode.
Leaks suggested that the boat will be unlockable from Town Hall 4 up. Also, players can repair the ship using a small cache of loot. Fans should not expect to see addition of new heroes, Town Halls, or walls in the next massive update for "Clash of Clans".
