The new "God of War" video is touted as one of the highly anticipated action adventure title coming to PS4 in 2017. However, the latest development from a key person involved in production suggests that its release date will be pushed further to 2018.

There is a slew of leaks indicating that "God of War" release date will happen later in 2017. But the newest clue courtesy of actor who is giving life to the central character, Kratos, tells fans that it will arrive in 2018 instead.

Christopher Judge updated his latest profile update on Twitter, which now indicates "God of War" 2018. Judge's Twitter profile first placed 2017 for the hotly anticipated PlayStation 4 exclusive and has now changed it to 2018.

At present, however, the actor strangely removed the said date and the gaming community thinks that Sony simply wants to keep the release date of "God of War" under wraps. It will make the announcement when it is ready to do so and perhaps, at the best platform possible.

On the contrary, the latest leaked listing at a Portuguese page suggests that "God of War" will hit shelves in September 2017. It will not be long, though, for fans to hear more at the fast approaching PlayStation E3 Experience 2017 on June 12.

But while Cory Barlog has been mum about the game's launch date, the game director keeps teasing fans about what to expect from the next title on Twitter. Barlog said that the Kratos'newest adventure has a greater storyline than the past installments.

The game director has also promised fans a profound single-player campaign. However, the addition of multiplayer mode remains unconfirmed at this point in time.

Meanwhile, Sony has also released "Dynamic 4K Games Only On PlayStation" trailer. The new 60-second video highlights four of PS4-exclusive games playable in dynamic 4K on PS4 Pro with a 4K display, which includes "God of War". Fans can feast their eyes on the video below.
