The latest details for "Injustice 2" will feature an unused concept art of Static and tips on unlocking rare Diamond Mother Boxes revealed.
It seems that a concept art of one of DC characters that were not featured in "Injustice 2" has been revealed as character designer Marco Nelor posted an Instagram photo of Virgil Hawkins a.k.a. the teenage hero Static.
Static has been featured in "Injustice: Gods Among Us" on the mobile version two years ago. His move set in that game included creating an electric staff, shooting electricity out of finger guns, and an electric nova style attack. He also floated on his signature disc and used static electricity to block attacks.
While gamers end up with Firestorm, Blue Beetle, Supergirl and Robin as teenage representatives in "Injustice 2," one more probably would not hurt. However, the presence of another electricity based character cannot be helped. Black Adam has already been cast in "Injustice 2," and rumors of "Mortal Kombat's" Raiden joining the roster soon, PvP Live reported.
Meanwhile, new tips on unlocking new and rare Diamond Mother Boxes in "Injustice 2" have been revealed.
Similar to games like "Heroes of the Storm" or "Overwatch," the loot boxes in "Injustice 2" come in a variety of rarities. The basic rarities are Bronze, Silver and Gold Mother Boxes and they can be unlocked through lots of different gameplay options and can also be purchased using credits. Diamond and Platinum Mother Boxes are a little harder to track down and gain.
There are several ways player's can unlock Diamond boxes. First of these is to complete 100 percent of the Story Mode. Second is to Complete 100 percent of all character tutorials. Link the console version of "Injustice 2" to the tie-in mobile game. Defeat a guild boss and clear endless in the Battle Simulator with 100+ victories.
In addition, players will also want to check the rotating daily Multiverse challenges and objectives in "Injustice 2." It is possible that the rare Mother Boxes could show up as a reward for some of the more difficult tasks.
The rare Boxes will also likely appear as rewards for special in-game events. There should be more details about that option as the game’s community continues to grow in the coming weeks, Gamerant reported.
"Injustice 2" is currently available for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
