New details for "God of War" PS4 could happen next month, as well as the status of the sequel's development.
Santa Monica Studio gave several updates on the new "God of War" sequel for the PlayStation 4 on Twitter as the game's art director Raf Grassetti tweeted that he broke his personal record working in the studio and teased that game is looking good.
It was not long that "God of War" PS4 director Cory Balrog also shared that good news about its developement saying that things are looking great in the game, PlayStation Universe reported.
Balrog added that the new "God of War" for the PS4 could be the most brutal and violent in the game series as PEGI rated the sequel 18+ in the European rating board.
There are also rumors that Santa Monica Studio could reveal new game details for "God of War" PS4 next month, possibly at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo.
The E3 21017 event will happen on June 13-16 as Sony announced other video game titles that will join "God of War" PS4 include "Uncharted: The Lost Legacy," and new unannounced projects will be shown during its press conference.
Gaming fans will likely expect that Santa Monica Studio will announce the official release date of "God of War" PS4 during the event. This also points to "God of War" PS4's "father and son "poster in Europe hinting something for June, SegmentNext reported.
Previous reports hinted that "God of War" release date for the PS4 could happen on Sept. 14 via Portuguese retailer website Gaming Replay, while others believed that the sequel could launch next year which was found in Kratos voice-actor Christopher Judge's Twitter page.
The new "God of War" game will feature gods and mythical creatures from Norse Mythology, before he viking age. Balrog assured gaming fans that "God of War" will feature elements from Norse Mythology and Santa Monica Studio have been exploring the lore of Scandinavia.
The development team’s mindset for the sequel's creation is rooted in “a prehistory point," where gods did walk the Earth, when monsters were real, before they became extinct.
There is no release date yet for "God of War" in the PS4 console.
