"Titanfall 2" will receive its latest expansion called Monarch's Reign next week. It will add the multiplayer Titan that can upgrade itself during battles based on options that are set by its pilot.
This mid-range Vanguard-class Titan named Monarch upgrades her combat abilities through her unique Upgrade Core in which the pilot can select a path of upgrades. While on the process of upgrading, the pilot finds a way to survive until Monach reaches her final form.
The new DLC will also introduce a new map called Relic, a re-mastered classic map from the original "Titanfall". There are new purchasable Prime Titans as well such as Ronin and Tone Prime, new execution and new purchasable store contents.
Relic is set in the midst of the old wreck of the IMC carrier IMS Odyssey. It is a worksite where Pilots have built clever wall running routes by hanging pieces of the wreckage between structures. The wreck of the Odyssey is located in the center of the map that divides the two town areas.
Playstation Lifestyle describes Ronin Prime as a Titan that can charge the field with its samurai-inspired aesthetic, where there is a visual upgrade for his sword so he can more "stylishly pierce the heavens" and its enemy Titans as well.
The Crashsite map for "Titanfall 2" is also updated where the collision pass is now fixed on "around 100 instances of getting bumped, bonked, stuck or tripped up," as described by Respawn. They also added eight ziplines so that players can get around the map faster with a few more wall running locations added.
There's a new Execution called Now You See Me, new store contents and these are Nose art, Camos and Callsigns. Check out the EA's official website for more details
Monarch's Reign DLC will be released on May 30 on PS4, Xbox One and PC. "Titanfall 2" will also make an appearance at EA Play 2017 on June 10-12 at the Hollywood Palladium and can be played during the event.
