"Death Stranding" release date is quite far off just yet but the game is highly anticipated by fans that some hot leaks here and there emerge online from time to time. The most recent reveals a fresh update that pertains to the character of versatile actor, Mads Mikkelsen.
This new information comes from what appears to be a leak from a reddit user named Sashkuh. The leaker has discovered the in-game name of Mikkelsen's character in "Death Stranding".
It is based on a video that is titled "Reason why Kojima Production chooses Lenovo's workstation ThinkStation"-Long version. Sashkuh got to trace down a path of Mikkelsen character's eyeball model where the character is allegedly named John Sheffield.
However, there is not much details that comes with simply a name but it is quite enough to tickle the fans amid scarce update regarding the gameplay of Kojima's next masterpiece. Now that E3 is right around the corner, possibilities are high that more will be revealed at the event.
Meanwhile, Kojima gave an update on how the development is going well for "Death Stranding". Via Twitter, he posted a number of tantalizing behind-the-scenes photos taken right inside the studio of Kojima Productions during some photogrammetry sessions.
The said images have not much details to feast on. However, it does seem that the development is pretty much making a lot of progress.
So far, Kojima only showed two trailers for "Death Stranding" since it was first announced. The first teaser featured Mads Mikkelsen and the second offered a first look at Norman Reedus who is the central character in the game.
"Death Stranding" is developed as an exclusive title for PS4 by Kojima Productions and will be published by Sony. The release date is expected around 2019 or earlier.
