"Red Dead Redemption 2" release date and other updates remain to be highly sought online. With the series of delays being reported, game developer Take-Two justifies their action of moving the game's release in FY2019.
There have been a lot of clamors online regarding the sequel release of Take-Two's hit western action-adventure game, "Red Dead Redemption." Although expected by many to be released this year, the game developer confirmed that they are moving its release towards the Fiscal Year 2019.
Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick assured its fans and followers that their decision of moving the game sequel's release towards another year would not affect other Rockstar Games. He also emphasized that they haven't run into particular technical issues.
"We haven't run into particular [technical] issues [with development], and we are building Red Dead Redemption 2 as a new game from the ground up for the first time for the new generation of consoles... The decision to move Red Dead Redemption 2 to FY2019 will have no impact on any of Rockstar Games' other activities," Frag Hero quoted Zelnick as saying.
If no delays will be met by FY2019, it is expected that the game should be released between October 2018 and September 2019. Within those span of time, fans are to expect major updates, teaser videos, and other significant game details.
As for the frequent delays being encountered by the release of "RDR2," Take-Two assured their fans that it is for their own benefit. They are trying to better the game, especially that they will try to utilize Project Scorpio and PS4 Pro's enhanced abilities.
Most experts believe that a game delay will benefit fans, for it would mean that the game will surely be impressive. Thus, waiting for it would be highly advisable, for it would be far more disappointing if "Red Dead Redemption 2" is bad, according to IGN.
