We've seen plenty of rumors, teasers, and leaks about the long-awaited OnePlus 5 surfacing the internet, The company most recently teased that the new device will be smaller than the prev-gen OnePlus 3T.
The latest leak comes from Weibo where an image reportedly reveals the dual camera setup that would be arranged horizontally in the upper left corner. According to a source, the said teaser image of OnePlus 5 cover was posted on Weibo, spotted by SlashLeaks, and claims that the smartphone will be coming with a horizontal camera setup. Talking about the leaked teaser, OnePlus 5 is anticipated to feature a dual-camera setup similar to that on iPhone 7 Plus.
In a recent report, a leaked image showing the final retail packaging for the OnePlus 5, obtained from Android Authority, professedly confirms that the next killer flagship will feature dual camera set-up. Interestingly, a tagline on the side of the said retail box said, "Dual Camera. Clearer Photos,"
Also, a set of leaked images suggested to be taken from OnePlus 5 has now popped up on the Internet and indicates that one of the sensors in the dual camera setup will shoot in monochrome (black and white). Images suggesting that the OnePlus 5 dual camera setup at the rear end will sport a 16-megapixel sensor with an aperture of f/1.8.
As per the officially available details, the OnePlus 5 will launch this Summer, to powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC, with a front-facing fingerprint sensor, and will come with a camera developed in partnership with DxO. OnePlus also teased a camera sample showing superb low light performance. Aside from the cameras, OnePlus 5 is expected to run Android 7.1 Nougat pre-installed.
