Ahead of its official launch on June 20th, OnePlus is slowly releasing details regarding the OnePlus 5. The latest teaser shows off a dual camera setup at the back, comes with the two sensors aligned horizontally next to each other. The positioning of the cameras and the overall design at the back looks a lot to that of the iPhone 7 Plus.
Moreover, On the official OnePlus Google+ page, an image of the OnePlus 5 was posted with the tagline "Dual Camera. Clearer Photos.", same with the leaked retail box for the smartphone a few weeks ago. The image itself appears that the OnePlus 5 with a black matte finish and with the specifics of its primary camera setup that the company already accidentally revealed to be of the dual-lens variety. As evidenced by the promotional render that can be seen above, the main camera system of the OnePlus 5 will consist of two horizontally aligned lenses situated in the top-left corner of its rear panel and along with a dual LED, dual tone flash. More so, the back plate of the handset also shows no sign of a fingerprint reader, indicating that the scanner will instead be embedded into the physical Home button on the device bottom bezel.
In a recent report, On June 20, the company will host multiple 'pop-up' events in London, New York and across Europe starting at 5 pm UK time. The details of the locations and how to attend the launches are listed on a new page which is set-up by OnePlus and confirmed by OnePlus CEO. In a separate note, OnePlus has already confirmed June 22nd launch date for OnePlus 5 in India, Amazon India has reported that the next flagship killer will be exclusively made available for purchase from the website on the very same day.
