Microsoft has officially confirmed that the Project Scorpio Xbox gaming console will be launching in November with Xbox One X moniker.
After several months of leaks from various sources, the Redmond giant has officially confirmed that the Xbox One is its upcoming gaming console. The company has confirmed that the Xbox One X would be unveiled to the world on Nov. 7 with a price tag of $499, The Verge reported.
All the currently available Xbox One accessories will be compatible with the upcoming One X. It will be also supporting all the gaming titles that are compatible with Xbox 360 and Xbox One. In order to ensure that the new games appear better on full HD TVs, the Redmond giant will be making use of its "super sampling" technology.
The Xbox One X will be coming with 6 teraflops of graphics power. It is much higher than 4.2 teraflops of graphical prowess of PlayStation 4. The custom GPU of Xbox One X clocks ta 1172 Mhz. The Xbox One X will also arrive with a UHD Blu-ray drive for enjoying 4K content. It is packed with 1 TB of storage.
High-end graphical cards for PC comes with liquid cooled vapor chamber cooling, the same is available inside the Xbox One X. According to Microsoft, the power-packed Xbox One X is the smallest Xbox ever. It appears quite similar to the existing Xbox One S. There is no information available on the variants of the Xbox One X, but for now the company would be shipping the black colored Xbox One X with 1 TB of storage.
The Xbox One X comes with several wireless features like Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth 4.2 and IR. Microsoft will be launching 22 exclusive game titles for One X that will include games like Crackdown 3, Forza Motorsport 7 (debuting on Oct.3), and Sea of Thieves.
