"Days Gone" will possibly receive a release date announcement at Sony's presser later today as E3 2017 officially opens. The open-world survival horror video game will be showcased at the even in a big way just like last year.
Back at E3 2016, Sony surprised its audience when it debuted the hotly anticipated apocalyptic video game, "Days Gone". It was one of the surprises fom SIE Bend Studio, teased first with a reveal trailer and then, a stellar-looking gameplay footage that is nostalgic of "World War Z".
At this year's annual trade expo, "Days Gone" is among the PS4 heavyweights that will return for some exciting reveal, It will join "God of War", and "Spider-Man", which were both teased last year at the same event.
Since the studio has kept the development of the game under wraps, it does make sense that fans will see the zombie-looking creatures once more, in a big way.
Just days before E3 2017, voice actor Sam Witwer told fans in his interview on Twitch that "Days Gone" will be at the PlayStation showcase in a "big way". So, it will only be a matter of hours that players will see a new trailer and find out more details regarding the gameplay.
For example, the studio has yet to discuss more about the game's storyline, how motorbike or the survival elements will play out. Fans can also watch out for the announcement of the game's official release date for PS4 and PS4 Pro, which is deemed likely to happen, too.
Sony's PlayStation Media Showcase will be broadcast live on June 12 at 5:00 p.m. PST. Then, there will also be a coverage of PlayStation Live on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 13 and 14, from 12:00 p.m. up to 6:00 p.m. and on Thursday, June 15, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. PST.

"Days Gone" is developed by SIE Bend Studio and to be published by Sony. It is expected to be released in late 2017 as a first-party exclusive title for the PlayStation 4 and PS4 Pro.
