Xiaomi has officially released a newly upgraded variant of its Mi Notebook Air 13.3 with new features added. The Mi Note Air was first announced in August last year in China and it came as a real rival for the Apple iPad Air. The new Mi Notebook Air is said to be the successor of the Mi Notebook Air 4G and is a much powerful and improved version of it.
The new Mi Notebook Air arrives a wide range of newly added features. In a recent report, the new 13.3-inch Mi Notebook Air is an upgrade to its prev-gen 13.3-inch Notebook which is said to be a real competitor for the Apple's iPad Air. Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air featuring a new version with 4G LTE modem and equipped by seventh-gen Intel Core M3 processor.
By including the 7th gen Intel Core i7 chipset, Xiaomi offers nearly 12 percent improvement in performance compared to the previous 6th generation Core M3. The Notebook, in terms of specifications, is packed with a 13.3-inch screen and as aforementioned, is powered by a more powerful 7th gen Intel Core i7 processor and clocked at 3.0GHz.
A new upgrade is the fingerprint recognition technology added to the upper right corner of the trackpad. More so, Memory is at 8GB of DDR4 RAM for all three 13.3-inch Mi Notebook Air variants, which will be offered with 128GB or 256GB PCIe SSD storage. Graphics also get a boost with Nvidia GeForce MX150 graphics card with 2GB GDDR5 memory.
Furthermore, the new graphics chip is adjusted to bring up to three times better performance-per-watt in comparison to the previous 940MX GPU. As for the pricing details, the Intel Core i5 model ith 128GB of storage is priced at $735 in China, while the variant with 256GB of storage costs $810.
