Xiaomi seems to be busy with the production of its new smartphones the Xiaomi Mi 6 and Mi Max 2. A recently leaked image that shows a rear panel of Mi 6 Plus shows that the phablet is getting ready to launch soon.
Xiaomi is rumored to be working on the Plus variant of the Mi 6 phone. The alleged Mi 6 Plus was spotted on the China's 3C certification site a few months ago. The smartphone is said to be bearing a model number of MDE40. According to a Chinese analyst, the phone will be unveiled around two weeks after the launch of the Xiaomi Mi 6 that was unveiled in April.
The leaked image that has appeared on GizChina shows that the rear shell of the alleged Mi 6 Plus has also the same design as that of Mi 6. The top-left corner has cutouts for dual cameras and its LED flash. The Mi logo can be seen towards the bottom. There is no rear-facing fingerprint reader which suggests that it would be placed at the front, Gizmo China reported.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 is expected to sport a 5.7-inch display with a full HD resolution of 1,080 1,920 pixels. The Xiaomi Mi 6 is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 chipset that includes 2.45 GHz octa-core processor and Adreno 540 graphics.The same chipset is expected to drive the Mi 6 Plus. The smartphone is expected to come packed with 6 GB of RAM and arrive in two storage options of 64 GB and 128 GB. It would be coming wth Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS customised with MIUI 8.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 features a 12-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front shooter. It includes a fingerprint sensor inbuilt in the physical Home button. These features are also expected to come with Mi 6 Plus. The smartphone is rumored to come with a massive battery of 4,500mAh capacity
