"Kingdom Hearts 3" director Tetsuya Nomura has revealed what exciting things fan can expect at the Disney-centric D23 Expo in July. After being kept secret for long, many now anticipate that the release date announcement might finally happen at the event next month.
Following the surprise trailer reveal of "Kingdom Hearts 3" from Orchestra Concert at E3 last week, Nomura has again build the hype among fans as he teased more details relating to what to look forward to at D23 Expo.
A couple of KH13 reports revealed that Nomura confirmed that athe D23 trailer will be long, which means, it will show more than what has been shown so far since the game's announcement in 2013. The fan site further reported that Square Enix plans to unleash some final information there.
In his interview with Famitsu, Nomura spoke first about the upcoming gameplay trailer for the RPG, "Kingdom Hearts 3". As translated in English, he said:
"The editing of the D23 trailer is being finalized right now. But I think that not only it will be longer than the orchestra trailer, it will also show some new elements that should meet everyone's expectations."
These new elements that Nomura talked about might pertain to the combat scenes where there will be a small difference between US and Japan versions of the clip. But there's more to just offering a longer trailer in comparison to the latest orchesta concert gameplay video.
At the orchestra concert on night of June 12, Nomura said something that have intrigued the audience. As per the translator, he announced that fans can hear final pieces of details about "Kingdom Hearts 3" at the D23 Expo.
Many of the fans are now speculating that what it means by it is that the release date announcement is imminent and will finally happen. The game's exact launching date has remained a secret for so long and perhaps, the perfect timing has finally arrived.
The latest trailer also confirmed that a new world for "Kingdom Hearts 3" will unfold once the next D23 gameplay trailer is streamed on Disney's "Level Up" games showcase on July 15. The game is set to launch on Xbox One, and PS4.
