"Star Wars: Battlefront 2" got more YouTube views than any other title during E3 2017 week as Janina Gavankar charmed both attendees and those who were watching the live stream in her Iden dress at the EA press conference.
The trailer from the upcoming EA title came out as the winner out of over 200 games with major announcements during the E3 2017. YouTube explained that the ranking includes official trailers, gameplays, media coverage, and fan-reaction videos, VG247 reported.
"Notably, EA's press conference included four of the titles in our top 10, a nod to the strength of its showcase," says YouTube. Aside from its E3 trailer getting the most views on YouTube, "Star Wars: Battlefront 2" is also the most popular game with more than nine million views at the time of writing.
If there is one thing that influenced the number of audiences' interest on the "Star Wars: Battlefront 2" E3 trailer, it could be Janina Gavankar who, according to Polygon, is the best part of EA Play. Gavankar who plays Inferno Squad Commander Iden Versio walked onto the stage with a full support of Stormtroopers and introduced EA's new game in the Star Wars franchise.
While some presenters just walk out and scrabbling through their presentations, she show everyone how to do it - with an awesome entrance. According the report, the newsroom at Polygon was also ecstatic about her performance where she owned the stage and presented the game with exuberance and confidence.
She is a breath of fresh air from boring flow of slick corporate guys and game developers who seem uneasy on the stage. Fans and critics alike are hoping that she would host everything next year.
Here is the ranking of the most viewed games of E3 from June 9-14, 2017:
1. Star Wars Battlefront 2
2. Assassin's Creed Origins
3. FIFA 18
4. Call of Duty: WWII 2
