"Halo 6" release date remains to be elusive up to now. However, game developer 343 Industries has assured fans that the game will surely come.
Since last year, many people were hoping that the E3 2017 event would shed some light about the release date of "Halo 6." However, to the frustration of fans, the game developer confirmed that there would be no new game sequel soon.
"Others were hoping for a tease of things farther off to come. While there's little to nothing that can be said on that front, it's been made clear that we won't be talking about Halo's next major title for quite some time. And no, that doesn't mean Gamescom. Or PAX. Trust us, when we're ready to begin pulling back that proverbial curtain, you'll know. It won't be soon," GameSpot quoted 343 Industries writer Jeff Easterling as saying.
Such honesty is indeed brutal, but fans would have to admit that the game will surely be delayed for a period of time. And with the question of when exactly it would be released, no one really knows so far.
However, another rumor pointed to the potential release of the game next year, 2018. Nevertheless, such specific date remains unconfirmed and lacking any substantial basis.
The revival of the release date for another "Halo" game sequel had reached maximum expectation after the game developer teased fans last November 2016. It can be remembered that during a mannequin challenge, an alleged script of the game was spotted.
With this news of another delay, it is uncertain yet how fans will be affected by it. Apart from being frustrated, would game sales be affected upon its release? Seeing that, the game developer should ensure that the release of "Halo 6" and its content should be beyond fans' expectations.
