With Dell, launching the XPS 15 and reviews comparing it with Apple's MacBook Pro, a question has arisen on whether Apple is in trouble or not.
The great features that are packed in the 15-inch notebook from Dell is said to be posing a threat to Apple, with readers experiencing a better picture when the two are leveled against each other.
When comparing display, dimensions and processor, according to Forbes, Dell XPS 15 is said to sport a 4K Infinity Edge display, projecting great videos and images at a lower 1080p. The report added that it is an IPS panel that results in 350 nits brightness and lots of saturation. To compete with the XPS 15, MacBook Pro is said to be designed with an LED 13.3-inch widescreen display that gives great colors.
Forbes also reported that the laptop is light in weight, so that it can easily be clutched, and has an Intel INTC -2.94 percent Core i7-6700HQ (quad-core) Skylake hardware and 16GB of DDR4-2133 RAM. As compared to aa 2.5GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor, with which the MacBook Pro is equipped.
Yahoo is also said to confirm that the stylish and elegant design and other features of the 13 inch notebook, is really posing a threat to Apple. One thing that Yahoo noted was that, both the devices are designed with spacious trackpads, helping users to type words as well as numbers, smoothly, without feeling cramped for space.
Speaking about the price, Digital Trend says that Dell XPS 15, priced at $2100, is slightly more that the MacBook Pro 15, which has a price tag of $2000.
