New updates for "Street Fighter 5" will feature possible improvements for "Super Street Fighter 5" and the remaining DLC characters in the game.
With the rumored news about the possible "Super Street Fighter 5" game coming to the PlayStation 4 and PC platforms, gaming fans are wondering what kind of changes will they do for the update version of "Street Fighter 5" in the future?
EventHubs made a list of several changes for the updated "Street Fighter 5" game to appeal more to both fans and beginners of the series. First of these changes, is that Capcom should develop "Super Street Fighter 5" to a more casual crowd, as some did not feel that same hype as the veteran fans when they played the game. Arcade mode is somewhat a must for them in order to get the fans excited and relive their interest in the series.
The second improvement for "Super Street Fighter 5" is the reduction of input lags as the original game suffered about 6.2 frames of it. Gaming fans and professional players alike have been asking and pleading for Capcom to reduce the amount of input lag, but so far the publisher has not made any announcement and will not likely change it.
Whether the heavy input lag was an intentional design choice seems to be unknown. Several reports stated that the lag was put in to better simulate online play, while others claim the lag was unintentional.
The third improvement will be better server performance in "Super Street Fighter 5," since the original game has been having problems in online matches since its launch. The game has suffered multiple server issues, resulting into cases of rage quitting. But Capcom is looking for a way to improve it, when they made a business deal with Bandai Namco Entertainment in improving its online content.
Lastly, "Super Street Fighter 5" should include more characters, mechanics and even rebalance the whole cast. Many players would like to see additional options like the ability to choose from different V-Skills, V-Triggers, and Critical Arts.
Another problem with "Street Fighter 5" is its inability to express itself This has a lot to do with the game mostly favoring rush down and a lack of methods for deviating from the optimal strategy.
Mains of the same character are often witnessed just performing similar combos and tactics with the inability to branch out much further. Adding more V-Move and Critical Art options could definitely help players further express themselves and make their favorite characters their own.
Rebalance across the entire cast of "Street Fighter 5" should be implemented as some fans are not entirely pleased with the Season 2.5 balance patch.
For the characters, Reddit username Rikurikumore stated that the remaining season 2 characters could be Abigail, Menat and Zeku, while season 3 will feature six characters in the form of Sagat, Sakura, Oro, C. Viper, Q, and Necro.
"Street Fighter 5" is currently available on the PS4 and PC platforms.
