The latest update for "Overwatch" will feature a major change in Mercy's ultimate and Doomfist possibly next in the roster.
It seems that a major change for "Overwatch" hero Mercy has been teased in a new upcoming patch as she can no longer die and hit the Resurrect ultimate from her team’s spawn point.
This change for Mercy will have widespread effects for teams during an "Overwatch" gameplay session, although only on maps where spawn points could be exploited to make it impossible to counter her power.
For now, the Mercy update is still being tested in the "Overwatch" PTR and Blizzard Entertainment will likely reveal more details about in the next PTR update report. In addition, the new patch update will also fixe two glitches for Pharah and Orisa in the game.
These include a fixed a bug that prevented Pharah’s “I am the rocket queen” voice line from playing correctly
and Orisa’s ultimate to charge while her Supercharger was deployed, Express reported.
In other news, it seems that "Overwatch" fans will likely see Doomfist in the roster in the next in-game event.
Reddit username Cam3Ran was able to compile a whole list of screenshots showing that the next DLC event is called "Doomfist/Summer Games." The patch 1.13 will likely make Doomfist debut in "Overwatch" along with the return of the Summer Games event.
The patch 1.13 will also include new features like loot box updates, new highligh options, clarified the text on the “Flag Carrier” options under the Capture the Flag settings for Custom Games; removed the “Projectile Speed” and “Projectile Gravity” options for heroes who do not have projectile weapons and in-game bug fixes.
Lucioball will also be making a comeback in "Overwatch," but likely have some improvements in terms of gameplay.
"Overwatch" is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
