New details for "Watch Dogs 2" will feature a new protagonist, a Morality System gameplay and a possible launch date in Autumn this year.
Several rumors are making rounds that Ubisoft might working on "Watch Dogs 2" after reports that the next "Assassin's Creed" game will not be in the works this year and fans will expect the next game in 2017.
Although Ubisoft did not confirmed any details for "Watch Dogs 2" this year, the video game publisher that they cannot comment on rumors and speculations, but they were happy that several gamers are excited about their games from past, present and even in future projects, IDigital Times reported. Ubisoft is planning on releasing to spin-off titles for "Assassin's Creed" this year, not to mention the live-action "Assassin's Creed" film starring "X-Men: Apocalypse" star Michael Fassbender.
"Watch Dogs 2" has been a long standing rumors two years ago as Ubisoft Montreal creative director Jonathan Morin stated that "Watch Dogs" will become a game franchise and will come up with several new game features and storylines to make it works.
Past reports claim that "Watch Dogs 2" will have a new protagonist replacing the game's first protagonist, Aiden Pierce as Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot stated that he did not if Aiden will return to the sequel, while other reports claim that "Watch Dogs 2" could have three playable characters. The game's setting is rumored to take place in multiple cities such as New York, Dubai, Tokyo, Silicon Valley etc. and it will have more open-world activities that will rival Rockstar Games popular open-world video game, "Grand Theft Auto".
"Watch Dogs 2" will take place in San Francisco and its possible release date could be in Autumn this year, Kotaku reported. There is also a new morality system gameplay feature were in players will decide what kind of approach they will use in certain situations, playing on the good and bad decision making within the game.
The first "Watch Dogs" game centers on hacker vigilante, Aiden Pierce as he tries to get revenge for the murder of his niece and helping stop crime in Chicago.
Gaming fans might be expecting more "Watch Dogs 2" news from Ubisoft and hopefully the game publisher will deliver them very soon.
