Over the next months, it will bring a line of products for Indian consumers, including smartphones. This information came spoken to ET by Dickson Lee, general manager - smart devices for the Asia Pacific.

It is expected that in the next 6 to 8 months, or maybe longer, lots of products in India can be offered. This is the main focus market of LeTV for the next couple of years. They aim to make India a leading market for their products in a short period of time.

LeTV or Leshi Internet Information and Technology, is one of the leading online video entertainment companies in China. It began its operation in 2004, where they expanded to video and film productions and distributions, just like its counterparts Youku Todou and Netflix in the US.

It offers a large core of online video content to include ecommerce, connected super-electric cars and smart televisions over time. Its launch for mobile phones only started last year. It makes it in line with its competitors such as Huawei, Xiaomi and Samsung.

Letv's entry point to the Indian industry is timely when consumers have started to obtain better taste of pre-loaded contents on fast speed data networks.

4G customers from Idea Cellular can now obtain ErosNow's bundles services, including television, music and movie contents. Reliance Jio is discussing its offering for content-related services for its 4G services. The launch is done commercially with inclusion for fast speed data for 4G networks.
