'WWE 2K16' DLC news: 'Hall of Fame Showcase' DLC to launch next week; PC Version release date confirmed on March!

New "WWE 2K16" updates will feauture the "Hall of Fame Showcase" next week and the official launch date for the PC version on March.

The new DLC pack for "WWE 2K16" called the "Hall of Fame Showcase" will be released next week on Feb. 23 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. The "Hall of Fame Showcase" will feature over 20 playable superstars/wrestlers such as Jake "The Snake" Roberts, "Macho Man" Randy Savage, Rikishi, Alundra Blayze, Arn Anderson, Larry Zbyszko, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, Tatsumi Fujinami, Booker T, Stevie Ray, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and many more.

The "Hall of Fame Showcase" will also feature seven classic matches that featured these wrestlers and six new wrestling arenas, including the rings featured in WCW. The DLC will cost around $4.99 and players will expect two patch updates for "WWE 2K16" after the "Hall of Fame Showcase" update has been launched, The BitBag reported.

It is unknown yet why 2K Sports want to put two seperate patch updates for the DLC, but gaming fans speculated it could be fix in the DLC since the "Future Stars Pack" caused on an error on the save files of the gamers.

The "Future Stars Pack" featured former NXT Tag Team Champions Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy, Fernando and Diego of Los Matadores and the "Samoan Submission Machine" Samoa Joe.

In other news, the release date for the PC version of "WWE 2K16" has been announced and according to the official website of the WWE, the game will launch on March 11.

PC users can get "WWE 2K16" via Steam or they can purchase a physical copy of the game for $49.99 and the game will feature every DLC packs form the console versions.

There have also been recent rumors that "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles will be coming the "WWE 2K16" roster, but it was confirmed that they do not intend to put him in the roster since its been already locked last year.

However, 2K Sports stated that they have other plans for AJ Styles and he could be featured in the another "WWE 2K" video game sequel soon.

"WWE 2K16" is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles.
