Assassin's Creed Syndicate Update 1.4 is now available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
According to Play Station Lifestyle Blog, it resolves a number of bugs and also offers numerous improvements to performance. It fixes a bug when the Season Pass XP Boost is not available in rare cases. It also fixes the case when a gamer does not get the Helix rewards. The update is for 720 MB.
"Assassin's Creed Syndicate" was known as the "Assassin's Creed Victory" at the beginning of 2015, when it was still being developed. It was also learned at that time that the game will be set in a Victorian era with only a few stray mechanics. Additionally, the complete project of "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" was first introduced under the "Syndicate" last in last May.
The initial report about the game featured many improvements such as the grappling hook and transportation, according to PC Power Play. The players were pretty intrigued with the change of pace of the game play. However, the strong hype quickly faded away as the content was very little.
Game developer Ubisoft also remained relatively quiet about the new details, and the upcoming title was easily forgotten. And now that "Assassin's Creed Syndicate's" is finally released, the situation pretty much remains the same.
Alain Martinez, who is from Ubisoft, admitted last year in an interview that the sales were taking a huge blow when compared to the game's infamous predecessor, "Assassin's Creed Unity." However, he also expressed hope that the lost profit might be covered up through the many purchases of the new title over the time. Experts believe that the downfall of "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" is still a curious case.
The developers say that the negative reception of "Assassin's Creed Unity" caused many loyal customers to think that the next title in the game will also be less interesting. Additionally, popular games like "Fallout 4" and "Star Wars Battlefront" were also released around the same time, making the sales for "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" dip even more.
Experts believe that an additional culprit is Ubisoft's animalization of the franchise. Ubisoft's Lionel Raynaud said last year that the company will continue to follow its animation pattern until a reasonable lack of demand is reflected.
The next title, "Assassin's Creed Empire," will be available not before 2017. "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" is currently available now on Play Station 4, Xbox One and PC.
