Dell launched the new XPS 13 at the beginning of 2015 with a killer design and specs to compete against Apple MacBook Pro.
Apple MacBook Pro has a similar price with Intel core i5 processor and has higher clock speed than Dell's XPS 13. Both the laptops are premium variants with great build quality and design. Dell XPS 13 sports metal frame and compact 304 x 200 x 15mm dimensions whereas the Apple MacBook Pro is equipped with an aluminum uni body construction with 314 x 219 x 18mm dimensions.

The Apple MacBook Pro, on the other hand, holds a 13.3-inch Retina Active Matrix TFT Color LCD screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 and 16:10 aspect ratio. Dell XPS 13 is powered by 5th Generation Intel® CoreTM i7-5500U Processor (4M Cache, up to 3.0GHz), 2.4 GHz, Turbo Boost up to 3.0 GHz, while the Apple MacBook Pro holds a 2.9GHz dual-core Intel Core i5, Turbo Boost up to 3.3 GHz, and both laptops are equipped with 8 GB of RAM.
