Samsung somewhat took a risk in releasing four new additions to their Notebook series, even though the demand for these items have not yet reached the maximum level. All four models are ultra-thin, slim and light, but they mostly differ from sizes and processors as well as other aspects. The smallest model comes in 1.9 pounds and the most inexpensive one cost $999.

These Notebook 9 series' latest additions were officially introduced and announced at the CES 2016 event, along with its prices and actual devices available.

The rival against laptop manufacturers has been hyping up over the past few months that is why Samsung is trying all their efforts not to be dethroned. With the tight competition between major companies, it would not be surprising if new and sequential releases are slowly coming their way.

It seems like Samsung is sticking to their Super Thin concept because their latest innovation comes in sleek and slim designs. The smallest of all models is the one priced at $999, a 13.3-inch screen notebook packed with 1080p display, sixth generation Intel Core i5 processor and a battery life of up to 10 hours of usage. Next is a Notebook with Core i7 processor that comes in 15-inch screen at a price of $1199, $200 higher than the smaller model. Then comes the Notebook 9 Spin, as the name suggests, this model can surely spin around then have it folded onto the keyboard. This model also sells at $1199 with 3200x1800 pixels, but only comes with 13.3-inch screen; however, its processor is Core i7 with a battery life of 7.3 hours of standby, according to Ecumenical News.

The cream of the crop of these svelte devices is the Notebook 9 Pro, which has a 15.6-inch screen with 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution. With the state of the art Intel Core i7 version, Notebook 9 Pro has a debut price of $1399.

Most of the models are using top-of-the-line processor Intel Core i7 CPU and the others are using Intel Core i5 Skylake processor with RAM of 8GB, full HD display of 1920 x 1080 resolution plus 256GB solid-slate drive.  The most expensive of them all is the Notebook 9 Pro Sports, which sells at $1499, equipped with 15-inch screen with 4k display, not to mention the Nvidia discrete graphics card, ZDNet reported.
