According to App Marsh, Wikipedia Mobile 5.0 is adding various features for the iOS 9 users, specially the spotlight search integration, handoff support and the usage of touch ID technology of Apple, which shall be helpful for Apple iPhone 6S and iPhone 6 Plus.
The updates available on Mac Rumors also clarify the same; however, the last update of Wikipedia provided offline access to its users and editing to be done through mobile. With this latest app, Wikipedia seems to take a leap forward in making searches easier for its users. With the latest update, it is now more focus on personalization, like local articles made accessible through home screen, which shall be more relevant in terms of the personalization it provides, and random article feature which provides random access to articles through fast movements.
The Usb port explains other features like the discovery option that helps in accessing articles based on the earlier interests, articles based on locality and simplifying navigation through different levels of touch gestures. Also, voice feature is an addition for the users.
