The specifications of OnePlus 3 smartphone have surfaced on AnTuTu.
OnePlus 3 is one of the flagship smartphones that will release later this year. However, its specifications have already surfaced on AnTuTu. The OnePlus 3 variant that has been spotted on AnTuTu has a model number of A3000, Gizmo China reported.
The AnTuTu benchmark site has revealed that OnePlus 3 will be coming with a 5.5-inch display. It will carry support for full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The OnePlus 2 smartphone also sports a same-sized screen along with same resolution.
The Snapdragon 820 that has powered the Galaxy S7, Xiaomi MI 5 and LG G5 will be fueling the OnePlus 3 smartphone. It is comprised a quad-core CPU and Adreno 530 graphics. The chipset is accompanied by 4 GB of RAM. The native storage of the OnePlus 3 is of 32 GB.
The OnePlus 3 will be coming with 16 MP shooter on its rear panel. The front-facing camera is of 8 MP. It will come preloaded with OxygenOS that is built on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS. The AnTuTu benchmarks suggest of the OnePlus 2 successor suggest that it will not be arriving with flagship specifications.
Carl Pei, the founder of OnePlus had revealed in the previous month that the OnePlus 3 will be launched in June this year. However, a recent rumor had claimed that the Chinese company will be announcing its OnePlus 3 on April 7.
The company has confirmed that it will be holding an unveil event on April 7 exclusively for Chinese audience but it will not be used for announcing OnePlus 3. Even though the rumored specs of OnePlus 3 do not sound interesting, the company has stated that the its upcoming flagship will be "awesome," Android Authority reported. Speculations are rife that it will be coming with a redesigned appeal in comparsion to predecessor models of OnePlus 2 and OnePlus One smartphones.
OnePlus 3 rumors have also revealed that Microsoft is working on a Windows 10 Mobile ROM for it. The Redmond giant is also expected to release a Windows 10 Mobile ROM for Xiaomi Mi 5.
OnePlus 3 is speculated to sport back panels made up of sandstone and ceramic. The OnePlus 2 successor is also expected to come with features like USB Type-C and a 3500 mAh battery.
