Here is the Android Marshmallow release update for BlackBerry Priv, Droid Turbo 2, Moto X Style, Moto G, Moto E and Moto X Pure.
At present, the electronics manufacturer Motorola is upgrading its handsets to the Android 6.0 Marshmallow. According to reports, Android 6.0.1 update will be released in the Q1 of this year. BlackBerry Priv, which comes pre-loaded with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system, will get the Android Marshmallow update pretty soon.
The handset received its first software update that brought in significant improvements, according to Tech Times. These include the improved overall performance, security, stability and speed of the camera app. The reduction of crashing and freezing occurrences and the enhancement of the device's reliability are the other adjustments brought by the software update.
In addition, the update includes security patches for December that should make users of the BlackBerry Priv feel at ease that their new device is protected against threats on security which is based on the Android operating system.
Android Marshmallow was initially tested on the Moto X Pure Edition device in November. At present, US users who purchased Moto X Pure Edition through US Cellular, Sprint and Verizon are enjoying the new features of the Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Outside the US, the Android M update rolled out first for the European, Indian and Brazilian users.
Reports also suggest that the Moto X (2014) has got the latest Marshmallow update in countries such as the United Kingdom, Canada, India and Brazil. It is not known whether the update will be available for the Moto X first generation or not.
Furthermore, the Moto X Play will also run on Android Marshmallow. The Droid Maxx 2 will also get the latest Marshmallow update, according to International Business Times.
Rumor has it that the Droid Turbo 2 will also be updated to Android 6.0 M pretty soon. However, it is not known whether the Moto X Force will get the Android Marshmallow update or not.
Several reports suggest that the Moto G 3rd generation was updated to Android Marshmallow; however, the software is not available for the Moto G 4G LTE (2014) and Moto G (2014) yet. The Moto E (2015) will also get the update soon. However, it is not known whether the Moto E (2014) will get the Android 6.0 M update or not.
