Up to 5 Miis can be added in one photo at a time, along with the other features like adjusting their positions and size. To access and add friend's Miis, one need to be friend with them on Miitomo. There are some advanced techniques as well.
Resizing a Mii adds a depth to the photo. The smaller size makes the Mii look away and vice-versa. With the overlaying technique, one can add layers to have useful different interact. For example, with overlaying it is possible to place a fire stamp on the photo and place a Mii over it. Upon double tapping the selected item, it will be put to the front and vice versa.
Also, it has all sorts of Mii animations. After entering the Mii animation feature, one can choose from the turtle (slow) to rabbit (fast) scale. It is possible to freeze the Mii in place and the segment of the animation can be slide to turtle or rabbit scale and the pose can be obtained. One can select best suitable background to the animation.
The application has few pre-selected backgrounds which range from various shapes to cities. But the application also allows the end users to upload the background of their choice from their devices. Lot many emoji options are available for using it along with the photo and resize, move and place the emoji wherever the user wish.
