Apple launched the 9.7 inch iPad Pro instead of iPad Air 3 on March 21, surprising everyone during the "Let Us Loop You In" event held at its headquarters. Cupertino-based tech giant Apple already made the 9.7 inch iPad Pro available to consumer market in March 31.

Specifications - the tablet comes with an impressive A9X processor, a 2048 x 1536 screen resolution Retina display, iSight camera of 12MP and 32GB, 128GB, and 256GB storage options. Apple iPad Pro 9.7 inch is going to come in 4 colors - space grey, gold, silver and rose gold.
For the first time, Apple has offered a 256GB high storage capacity tablet. SanDisk 256GB NAND flash memory is used for this storage option. The iPad Pro 9.7 inch comes with a smaller design, making it handy and cheaper. Its thickness and weight is the same as iPad Air 2, with only 6.1mm and 437g.
